Sembcorp, a subsidiary of the Singapore-based Sembcorp Utilities, is the leading industrial utilities and services business on Teesside and one of the largest in the UK, providing steam and electricity to the major manufacturers on the Wilton International site, including Dow, Artenius, SABIC and Huntsman.

The products and services are provided and marketed through the two business units of Sembcorp UK.

Utilities Business

Sembcorp's Utilities business operates two power stations (including a Biomass Power Station) producing 228 megawatts of power and up to 550 tonnes an hour of steam on the Wilton International site. The adjacent water treatment facility is the largest in the UK supplying up to 2000 cubic metres of demineralised water an hour

Services Business

Sembcorp's support services include world class industrial fire fighting and spill protection practitioners, high voltage electrical expertise, accredited analytical and environmental service teams, storage and warehousing and facilities management.
