The Group’s Student Engineering Programme focuses on one of six trade disciplines but is designed to ensure trainees are multi-skilled and have a solid foundation in all trades. Available to young people aged 16-25 years, the programme runs for two years and may lead to a sponsored Advanced Apprenticeship (AA) in a chosen discipline. The Student Engineering Programme is demanding and requires trainees to attend five days per week. Qualifications gained on the Student Engineering Programme are as follows:
- GNVQ Intermediate Engineering (Full Award)
- NVQ Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations
- City & Guilds Process Plant Operations Part 1&2
- BTEC National Certificate/City& Guilds
