Working parents and how we support you

We recognize that having a family is a life changing experience and as a company we aim to support you every step of the way.

We give time off for all females to attend antenatal appointments, midwife and health visitor appointments, as well as full pay during Ordinary Maternity Leave (OML) for employees with 26 weeks service. (Employees with less than 26 weeks service can receive OML at the statutory maternity entitlement). As a company we carry out risk assessments for all pregnant women within the workplace, and utilise an occupational health service for checks before and after birth.

Adoptive parents receive the same level of support as biological parents. We offer comparable adoption leave and pay within a policy specifically designed for adoptive parents.

Once the baby arrives we offer 2 weeks paid paternity leave to all dads/partners, including the parent adopting children. Parents can then take parental leave of up to 13 weeks’ unpaid leave per child up to the age of five years (or 18 weeks leave for each child if the children are disabled up to the age of 18).
